Fuel Costs Decline: Keystone State Joins National Trend

As June begins, the national average for a gallon of gasoline has decreased, driven by tepid demand and a lower oil price. As of June 2, the average cost per gallon in the United States is $3.54, marking a 13-cent drop from one month ago.

Pump prices across Pennsylvania have also edged lower in recent weeks. At an average of $3.73 statewide, each gallon is eight cents cheaper than last month.

Drivers in the Philadelphia area are paying approximately $3.62 per gallon, which is five cents less than last week and fifteen cents less than last month.
