The football season enters the final week of the regular season, with many schools having just one contest remaining before the playoffs start. In the Greater Philadelphia area, St. Joseph’s Prep, the number 10 team in the nation according to MaxPreps, continued to roll as they moved to 7-1. This past week saw the team hit the road for an out-of-conference matchup with Maryland-based Archbishop Spalding. In their last non-conference game of the season, the team went home victorious with a 24-6 victory. The team went 4-1 in non-conference play, with their lone loss coming at the hands of powerhouse IMG Academy, the fourth best team in the country. The team has its final regular season contest on Saturday, October 28th against 7-1 in-conference opponent Roman Catholic.
